Conference check-in for the Directors starts 02:00 PM. You MUST wear your Conference wristband & Badge at ALL times!

You are responsible for booking your own flights to any of 3 airport options. SFO is the closest! Airport options found here!

Director Tickets & Accommodation

Chapter Directors & Co-Directors are entitled to 1x complimentary ticket, giving you access to the 2020 Startup Grind Global Conference & Directors Summit, as well as a Chapter Director T-shirt & Chapter Director badge!

Director Tickets

All Chapter Directors / Co-Directors will be sent personal invitation emails to their @startupgrind.com email addresses with information and links on how to register their tickets. If you’ve not received your invitation email, please contact us!

In Addition to your complimentary Chapter Director Tickets, you can also have tickets for your Team Members, Members of your Community, Startups and University groups or students!

Team Members, Members of your Community, Startups, Delegations and University groups or students will be responsible for their own travel & accommodation, and are not allowed to attend the exclusive Directors Summit!

Unconference Agenda

This year we are opening up an Unconference style agenda for our Directors Summit Day 2 on Friday, 14th February 2020 in San Francisco. There will be multiple unconference sessions running at any one time, with the first sessions starting at 10am. Each will run for 35 minutes.


This year awards will be mostly CHAPTER-based, not Director-based, unless stated otherwise (e.g. Director of the Year).

A Chapter representative needs to be at Global to receive the award, we are unfortunately unable to ship awards.

Do you know of anyone interested in Sponsoring the Conference? You can receive a 10% finders fee for any converted Sponsors, just for introducing our partnerships team! Sponsorships range from $15,000 to $50,000 – that’s $1,500 minimum in your pocket!

Step 1

Speak to your local Sponsors and/or seek out new ones. “Warm them up” to what we do, who we are, and judge if there’s potential for a larger Sponsorship.

Step 2

Introduce our team, we’ll take it from there. We can include you in any further steps in the process, but the success rate is higher if our team jumps in from here.

Step 3

Cash in your 10% commission dollars! This has worked great with Shahar in Tel Aviv, Marian in London, Curtis in Singapore, Tom in Chicago… and others.

Director Referrals

Chapter Directors can refer as many great local Startups as possible.

Startups Discount

Referred Startups will get $200 off their application fee if accepted.

Directors Fee

Directors receive $50 referral commission towards airfare for the Conference.

Represent your local ecosystem by bringing along a delegation of startups to the Global Conference!

What is a delegation?

This is where an organisation sponsors a group of startups to exhibit at the conference – this can range from as few as 3 startups to 20+! Discounts on exhibition fees are scaled in line with the number of startups sponsored, and there is also the opportunity for the sponsor to exhibit as a Gold Level Sponsor.

Why sponsor a delegation?

Many organisations and government agencies wish to sponsor delegations in order to showcase their country’s entrepreneurial talent, and to give these startups the opportunity to gain global exposure, feedback on their product/service, and to meet investors, partners, potential customers and other like-minded entrepreneurs.
